Under the direction of Michael Dorn, the Bayreuther Osterfestival was opened on Friday. To coincide with the season the Markus-Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach was presented.

The up-and-coming pianist Natalia Ehwald showed her skills today in the sold-out Rococo hall at Steingraeber & Söhne with works by Debussy, Ravel, Chopin and Schubert. The Jena-born pianist became a student at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki when she was 16 years old and graduated with honors both at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg.
